“There are beautiful houses to admire, lots of surfers, SUPers, and kite surfers to watch to pass the time.” in 15 reviews
“Ample parking lot, small shower area to rinse off, a trash can, a warning sign (no lifeguards here), and steep decline (don’t wear heels here, just a word of advice).” in 2 reviews
“Despite the thorns, sharp razor coral and rip currents this is a very beautiful and sacred place.” in 3 reviews
One of the best hikes in Hawaii. You can start anywhere between Kapiolani Park and Triangular Park at the corner of Diamond Head Road and Kahala Ave around Diamond Crater. Or you can just hike Diamond Crater and stroll down Monserrat Ave or Waikiki and visit all the eateries and shops and end up in Kapiolani Park. Beautiful views, scenery and history. The best time to visit is early in the morning before sunset or late afternoon before sunset and then head down to Waikiki for breakfast or dinner.
